Bossman Beard Products Review

Bossman Beard Products Review

Bossman Product  Scents

Amazon has a lot of Bossman products and it can be difficult to find information on the scents. After some snooping around on the internet I found the following information on the smells of the Bossman Products.

STAGECOACH – If the most interesting man in the world were a cowboy, his beard would beg for Stagecoach. This Texas sized blend of rugged leather, sweet tobacco, and aged Bourbon will make your beard look and smell like a gentleman as you belly up to any saloon. Saddle not required.

MAGIC – Warm and intoxicating blend of rich Sandal Wood and Vanilla oils that creates a clean base intended to highlight the Bergamont, Patchouli and Frankincense accents. It was the “original” Bossman Scent for a reason. This scent is perfect for close encounters, special occasions and the days when your beard needs to be as smooth as you are.

HAMMER – The every man’s scent that just doesn’t quit. Geranium and Lavender are masterfully mixed with Vanilla and Patchouli to bring you a strong mechanical smell for the blue collar guy.

GOLD – Our most fresh scent by far blending a mix of woods such as Cedar, Spruce, Sandalwood with a hint of Lemon, Bergamot, Lavender, and Saffron Spice. Gold gives off a clean and invigorating effect that makes any man feel like SOLID GOLD!

Bossman Beard Conditioner

The Bossman Fortify Intense Beard Conditioner is probably one of my favorite beard conditioners. I use this every other day to keep my beard clean and soft. The 4oz bottle is a good size, you can probably go through a bottle a month depending on the size of your beard. The conditioner is white preventing discoloration of your beard.

I would wet my beard, and then work the conditioner through my  beard coating it evenly. Then I would leave it in my beard letting my beard soak up the nutrients while I continued in the shower.

After washing the conditioner out of my beard it felt clean and soft.

Ingredients: Water, Soybean Oil, Octyl Palmitate, Stearalkonium Chloride, Castor Seed Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Betaine, Sunflower Seed Oil, Glycerin, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Polysorbate 80, Mango Butter, Cocoa Butter, Argan Oil, Avocado Oil, Aloe Leaf Juice, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Panthenol, Rosemary Leaf Extract,Jojoba Esters, Behentrimonium Chloride, Tocopheryl Acetate, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol.

Bossman Beard Jelly

The Bossman Beard Jelly is probably my least favorite part of kit. This product is designed to replace your beard oil and your beard balm. The reason i’m not a fan of this 2-1 is that beard oil and balm are designed to do two different things. Beard Oil is for the skin under the beard, and beard balm is for the beard itself. You have to use to much product and this means my beard felt a bit greasy. I’m not saying this product isn’t good, but I prefer to have two separate products. On the up side, the beard jelly will last all day in your beard. The jelly is white so there should be no discoloration of lighter colored beards.

Using the beard jelly is simple. After getting out of the shower put some jelly in your palms, and work it through your beard, massaging it into your skin and throughout your beard.

Ingredients: Soy Bean Oil, Beeswax, Castor Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Seed Butter, Tocopherol, Essential Oil Scent. Bossman Beard Wax

Bossman Beard Balm / Wax

I like the Bossman Beard Balm, well it’s more like a wax. This balm will have holding power for all but the biggest beards. The wax is white, so those with lighter beards won’t have to worry about discoloration of your beard.

After working the beard jelly into your beard take a small amount of the beard balm into your palms working it until it melts. Then work the melted balm into your beard. Comb your beard to the shape you wish.

Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Soybean Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Seed Butter, Mango Seed Butter, Tocopherol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Essential Oil scent

Bossman Mustache Mud

I am an Amazon Associate and I may earn commision from your purchase.

The Bossman Mustache Mud is probably one of my favorite products of all time. This is a small jar or clay that is used to style your mustache. I used the clay before meals to keep my mustache out of the way, and on the sides of my beard keeping the worst of the frizzy parts at bay. There is no smell or color to the mud so there is no discoloration to worry about.

Though the jar is small it will last a while as you don’t need much to keep your stache under control. Just take a little bit of the clay and rub it between your fore and ring fingers then rub it into your mustache. Once working into your mustache comb your mustache to the style you like.

Bossman Beard Comb

After the mustache mud the comb is my favorite part of the kit. Why? This metal comb has wide spaced teeth that allow the comb to pass through the beard without the comb getting tangled in long beards. The comb comes with a leather sheath.

Thank you for visiting The Dapper Man we hope you have a fantastic day.

Year Long Beard (Yeard) – Week 38 Review

Year Long Beard (Yeard) – Week 38 Review

Hello All and welcome to Greg’s Year Long Beard (Yeard) – Week 38 Review. Greg will be be giving an update on his year long beard, welcoming new followers and subscribers, answering subscriber questions, responding to subscriber feedback, and giving an update on what is next for The Dapper Man.

Weekly Beard Update

The beard has been well behaved this week. I’ve been co-washing it every couple days to help keep it soft and in control. I’m done testing the Bossman Beard Products and will be finishing up my review of them soon, so stay tuned. I’ve started thinking about what I want to do with my beard after my year is up. So far I’m thinking about shaping my beard, cleaning up the sides, the neck, and cheeks. I’m not sure if I want a rounded beard or a pointed beard. I still have time to figure it out. Please let me know what you think in the comments.
