The beard is looking fuller this week. I haven’t done anything different it just looks fuller. I am beginning to narrow down what I’m going to do with my beard after the year is up. But I have a few more weeks to make up my mind.

Not a lot of change in my beard this week. It is still big and fluffy. I’m not fully decided on what I’m going to do for my beard after my Year is up. So far I’ve decided to trim the mustache, and clean up the lines around the checks, and neck a bit.
Still haven’t decided on the shape of the beard. What do you think I should do?

This week I went to visit family in New Mexico and they couldn’t believe how big my beard was. It’s down to the second button on my shirts, and it is as wavy as every. In bright light you can still see some of the red in my beard, and the gray gives it character.
As usual my mustache was its problematic self, but the mustache wax really helps. Though I did lose a a Kent Comb this week, so that stings a bit. If you’ve never had the pleasure of using a hand made Kent comb I highly suggest you try them out. I’ll put a link below.
Kent Combs are hand made in Kent England. They are a great comb because unlike cheap plastic combs the teeth aren’t jagged and are spaced widely enough to pass smoothly through your hair. The comb below is the one I keep on me and use all the time.

Okie Piper Jon – I’m definitely going to trim my mustache, but yes until I can decide on what I want to do I’ll just let it grow.

Not much has changed for the beard, the moustache on the other hand is being annoying. It keeps getting in the way when I eat. I’ve been using the Wild Willies Mustache Wax. I really do like it. I keep it in my pocket and use it like chapstick. Just before I eat I apply it to my stache and comb it in. This keeps my mustache in place while I eat. If you have problems with styling your mustache, or it’s always in the way I highly recommend this wax. You can find it on Amazon with by following this link.
I’m trying to decide what to do with my beard after my 52 weeks are up. Should I shave it off, clean up the lines and trim it or just shape it, if I shape it do I do round, or pointed.
My current thinking is to clean up the lines on my cheeks and jaw. Trim my mustache, and shape my beard so that it comes to a point.
What do you think would look good?

I am saddened to say we do not have any new subscribers to welcome this week. It’s okay, this happens from time to time. I ask that everyone reach out to friends, and family that they believe would like The Dapper Man and spread the word. Because once we hit 100 subscribers I will be doing a give away.
I’ll have more information on the give away once we get closer to our goal of 100 subscribers. Currently we are at 72, so we have some work to do, so get out there and help get us to 100.

Some bit things are coming to The Dapper Man.
First, I have everything I need to create my first beard oil, balm, and wax. I have one scent right now, and I will be doing 3 more, and an unscented variant. I will be making my first batch this week, and I’ll give you an update in the next weekly beard review video.
Second, I am going to be filming my Bossman Beard Product review shortly. I’ve been using the products for three weeks, and I’m ready to give my review. So stay tuned.
Last but not least, my used Allen Edmonds are still at Allen Edmonds. If you remember I bought a used pair of shoes off of Ebay and sent them in to be re-crafted. That means they get new soles, new heels, new cork, new welting, new laces, and re-finishing. I’m hoping to get them back in the next week or two so that I can do a before and after comparison, and decide what’s the best way to get a pair of Allen Edmonds for the best price.

Weekly Beard Update
The beard has been well behaved this week. I’ve been co-washing it every couple days to help keep it soft and in control. I’m done testing the Bossman Beard Products and will be finishing up my review of them soon, so stay tuned. I’ve started thinking about what I want to do with my beard after my year is up. So far I’m thinking about shaping my beard, cleaning up the sides, the neck, and cheeks. I’m not sure if I want a rounded beard or a pointed beard. I still have time to figure it out. Please let me know what you think in the comments.
Welcome Traveler Mike to the Dapper Man family. We hope you find the information interesting and please feel free to ask questions or suggest ideas for videos.

Not much has changed in the last week. I’ve continued to test out the Bossman Beard Jelly, Balm / Wax, and Mustache Mud. I like using the mud on the sides of my beard to control the curly bits that like to stick out.

I have finished editing the 5 Vegas, aka Cinco Vegas, Classic Cigar Review. It will be available to watch here in the next couple weeks.
I will continue testing the Bossman Beard products for one more week and then do a full review.
Lastly, I have sent my Allen Edmonds that I purchased off of EBay to Allen Edmonds for refurbishment. They will get the full treatment which includes new heels, soles, quark inlay, welting, laces, and refinishing and polishing of the uppers.
Hello All and welcome to Greg’s Year Long Beard (Yeard) – Week 36 Review.
36 Weeks after my last shave and my beard is going strong. I still have a little gray in the beard, and a little red in the beard and that’s okay. The colors give my beard a unique style that can’t be copied.
My mustache has been an ongoing issue. It is not full enough, or long enough to handlebar the way I would like. But it is long enough to cause problems when eating. The solution? Mustache Mud or Wax. A good mustache mud or wax will help keep the stache out of the way while you eat.
I’ve been using Bossman beard products for about a week, but today I had to use my Honest Amish as my Bossman products I’m testing are packed for work trip.
Welcome new joiners, subscribers, and followers:
I wanted to say welcome to all the new people following me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and so on, as well as my new Youtube subscribers.
Coming Soon:
I am in the process of testing the Bossman beard products. I will finish my testing and do a review video in the next couple weeks.
I am also working on an Allen Edmonds refurbishment project. I bought a pair of AEs off of Ebay and sent them in for refinishing. Once I get them back I will show the before and after and give my recommendations for buying Allen Edmonds.
I have had a request for more cigar reviews. I will be filming a review of the 5 Vegas (Cinco Vegas) Classic Robusto. This video should be posted in a few weeks.

Hello All and welcome to Greg’s Year Long Beard (Yeard) – Week 35 Review.
Week 35 Review
The beard is looking good after 35 weeks. That’s right it has been 35 weeks since my last shave and this 100% all natural beard is growing and flowing. It has filled out well, and the sides are a bit more manageable now that they are longer.
What will happen after my year is up? At this point I’m thinking I will trim the beard a bit to bring the sides in and shape it a bit to come to a point. I may change my mind between ow and the end of August so who knows what I’ll end up with.
Week 35
Coming Soon
I have filmed and will be posting a review of the XikeZAN Beard Kit I bought on Amazon a few weeks ago and I’ve started using some Bossman Beard products and will be making a video about them in the near future.

Questions and Comments: Chris – What do I do that requires me to travel? I am an IT Consultant my company sends me all over the US from Seattle to New York, to Atlanta, to LA and everywhere in between. We specialize in Microsoft products, and currently I’m traveling to Hartford, Connecticut.
I’m a Sasquatch – Does the Honest Amish beard and body slick help grow your beard? It helps in the way that having healthy hydrated skin helps grow your beard. It helps in the way that having good strong hair helps grow your beard. But no there is no growth ingredients in the Honest Amish beard products.

Mrs. Dapper Man’s description of the week is “grizzly”.
The beard this week has felt a bit unruly and all over the place. The sides and neck are a bit longer than the chin. I’m hoping that everything will even out soon. Can’t see a lot of red today, but it is still in there on the cheeks. Still not quite able to handlebar the “stache” but getting closer. I’ve started using a bit of a heavier styling balm to keep the beard in shape. I still prefer the lighter beard balms, but I’ll add a very small amount of styling balm just for shaping.
This week I’m smoking Dunhil Early Morning Pipe, it is one of my favorite daily blends. It is an english blend meaning it isn’t cased with anything. Early Morning Pipe is a great all day or every day tobacco and a go to in my rotation.
